Why three months works
Most successful DAT takers spend 250-300 hours studying. Spread across 12 weeks, that is roughly 3-4 hours a day.
Weeks 1-4: Content foundation
- Biology: one chapter per day
- General chemistry and organic chemistry: alternate days
- PAT: 20 minutes daily
Weeks 5-9: Practice under pressure
Start full-length practice tests every weekend and review every missed question.
Tip: Track your weak topics in a spreadsheet and revisit them twice a week.
Weeks 10-12: Polish
- Two full tests per week
- Light content review only
- Rest the day before the exam
